It is highly preferable if you can make your reservation at the same time as your roommate. As we know, however, single people don't always have a friend with whom to travel. So Angelfish attempts to match people up so you all can travel at the most economical rate, not having to pay for single occupancy.

That is difficult to do, as most of the time we don't know the individuals, and without asking a lot of questions, we just try to do our best. Please understand that when we do match you with someone, we have tried to match according to age, interests, sometimes state where you live, etc. No co-ed accommodations except in the case of siblings or parent/child. We do not try to match according to ethnicity. We all plan to be in Heaven, don't we? And we'll live in harmony there. If you have a particular preference, please let us know. For instance, you may ask to be put with someone who enjoys the more active shore excursions—diving, boating, fishing, etc. Or you may have a problem with someone who snores. If you need a roommate and you do snore, let me know—we'll try to match you with someone who is a little deaf!

Let us know about needing a roommate just as soon as possible. And if we do match you up with someone, please be aware that it causes no end of trouble if either of you cancel, especially at the last minute. It is almost impossible to replace that person, and that creates a problem. Therefore, there is a $50 charge if you are the one canceling and do not have a replacement for yourself. If you must cancel, please try to find a replacement before you call us.

Any cancellations with a replacement must be done well before the deadline. If there is any possibility that you or your roommate may have to cancel, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Cruise lines offer this insurance— price varies from cruise to cruise. We offer Access America insurance at prices that are very competitive.
