First, please note that we plan all itineraries so there will be no air travel on Sabbath, unless you choose to do any pre- or post-cruise stay.
We always try to locate the Seventh-day Adventist church if we are there on a Sabbath. It is not always possible, however, to attend church. As an example, when we were in Istanbul, Turkey, it was just about impossible to find a taxi driver who would understand English so he could find the church.
Also, since it is likely that most of us would not be visiting that particular area again, you may wish to take advantage of sightseeing opportunities—museums, archeological digs, etc. Or just plain relaxing.
We will set aside a time each Sabbath we are on a cruise or tour for worship. It may take place on Friday evening, or even late Sabbath afternoon—it depends on the immediate circumstances.
On cruises, we reserve a meeting room on the ship every evening of the cruise. Sometimes our meeting is in the afternoon while we have a day at sea. On tours, we find we may not always have a scheduled time to meet together daily, but meeting times will be arranged sometimes as we travel.
When you sign up for a specific cruise or tour, we will let you know what the itinerary will be for Sabbath, and suggestions will be given for the day.
